Alex Gil
Las Vegas SVP Marketing and Promotions
Alex Gil
Born March 17, 1982 in Houston, Texas to a single Mother of Mexican decent, I was only in Houston for 3 months then we moved to Yonkers New York we stayed there until I was about 6., from there we moved to Alexandria Virginia where I lived for most of my adolescent life.
I attend the famous T. C Williams High School, the school was in a movie named Remember the Titan that was based around the football team. I was pretty good academically, after high school I decided to move to Miami Florida, I attended 2 years at Miami University where I studied business administration and communication. Unfortunately I didn’t graduate. I had a child around that time. I had to drop out of school and get a job. For the three years I was working at an alarm company, installing alarm system and managing the staff. But that wasn’t my passion, my passion was always music production. So I decided the quit that job and start working for the radio station. I started in marketing and promotions at the radio station and took a pay cut from what I was making at the alarm company. I was also able to manage some restaurants that turned into clubs at night that I could incorporate the radio station. I did that for a few years then transferred to Fort Myers Florida where I continued music production, I partnered with a recording studio and managed a couple of artist. Almost got a few deals at the labels in New York, unfortunately none of that worked out. I decided to move to the west coast I had two job opportunities one in Las Vegas at a radio station as an on air personality the other in Los Angeles at Def Jam Record being a record rep. I decided not to take the job in LA and decided to stay in Las Vegas. To me Las Vegas looked like more of a business orientated city and I had nightlife experience. I was at the radio station for about a year before I decided to switch over to the nightlife, I seen more potential with the Las Vegas Nightlife, than I did with the dying industry of radio. So I became a promotion manager at one of the nightclubs and also started a club tour company. Where we took customer to three different nightclubs on a party bus and showed them around the strip. Did that for a few years. Then I ended up getting an offer to become a VIP Manager at one of the biggest clubs in Vegas. As I worked there I also opened my own VIP concierge service called We Party Vegas that catered more towards businesses people with corporate event planning. After the pandemic happened and Las Vegas was down for about a year I decided not to go back to the club. I decided to put all my time into We Party Vegas. Fast forward to today I’m building a marketing and distribution company, due to the fact that there are tons of conventions and products and the companies need help with getting their products out. Also currently working on a project My Crazy Field-trip that helps people with once in a lifetime experiences, getting them their utmost wants and desires.
